MobileSenegal is an initiative that started in Senegal in 2008. It organizes bootcamps, training, competitions, and field projects for developers, students and faculty in Senegal. It designed a teaching model based on intensive project-based training followed by mentoring activities to permit the deployment of the mobile solutions on the field or their release in the marketplaces. It also launched meetups in Dakar and Thies.
